Kelli has been pushing pedals and making wheels go around since there were 3 of them and it was called a tricycle. Her fascination with bikes started with Big Wheels, increased while watching Greg LaMond win the Tour de France and finally became a full blown addiction when she had the fortune to race her mountain bike full time. Kelli had a successful career as an expert (winning multiple National and Colorado races), enabling her to turn pro in 1997. An unfortunate ski accident ended her professional career but opened other doors and opportunities to continue a life involving bikes and the great outdoors.
Kelli still races in the local Vail and Summit town series and is often talked into racing adventure races or 24 hour mountain bike events. Kelli has had the great fortune to be involved with teaching and coaching a variety of sports, including women’s specific mountain bike camps.
